TRANSGRESSIVE LOVE

VOLUME 1

The first volume interrogates crucial matters in our post-pandemic society: Transgressive Love and Female Emancipation

Exploring the range of the genre, from sharp body horror to thought-provoking psychological thriller, YOUNG BLOOD digs deep into today’s hot topics while remaining innovative, original and most importantly, entertaining. With the recent successes of Saint Maud, Censor, Host, and Raw, we’ve seen an incredible (and long-time coming) appetite for blossoming female gaze in genre, and following in the footsteps of these visionary female creative forces, we have curated a collective of female filmmaker and/or producers we’d love to support.

We’ve chosen the anthology format specifically for this project. In our desire and commitment to talent support and innovation, anthology allows us to explore a variety of subjects, styles and perspectives, all unified by a singular EP/Curator who will mentor our filmmaking teams but also add an integral layer of cohesion. This holistic vision, along with the connecting themes of this season, will offer audiences a sense of continuity among the episodes.
